Planned Parenthood Files Lawsuit Against Funding Ban in Kansas Budget

Planned Parenthood is suing Governor Sam Brownback and KDHE Secretary Robert Moser over language in Kansas’ fiscal year 2011/2012 budget that would effectively prevent the organization from receiving federal Title X family planning funds.  The prohibition on taxpayer funding for Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion provider, was strongly supported by Pro-Life organizations.
